A Green Off-Grid franchise is a fully equipped, mobile solar business operating from a branded container, shop, or garage setup. It allows you to sell solar products, offer installations, and serve your local community while being part of a national network.
Each franchise includes:
- A fully branded and operational unit (container, shop, or garage)
- Initial solar stock and supplier access
- Marketing materials and national branding
- Business setup support (company registration, bank account, compliance)
- Training, accreditation, and certification
- Ongoing operational and marketing support
Costs vary depending on the format:
- Entry-level (Garage): from R191,700
- Mid-range (Container): from R425,200 to R565,800
- Premium (Shop): up to R735,200
CSI and sponsored funding options are also available that reduce costs for qualifying applicants.
Yes. Through Section 18A tax-deductible funding, corporate sponsors and CSI partners can fund or co-fund franchise units, making it more accessible for entrepreneurs. CSI clients and sponsors also receive a 30% discount on the franchise.
